Annalise Hammerlund, LPC
annalise-bw-square

Annalise Hammerlund is a licensed professional counselor and expressive arts therapist.  She has experience working in various settings, including community support groups, youth residential treatment, medical hospitals, schools, and inpatient psychiatric treatment.  Annalise earned her Bachelor’s in Art & Psychology from Alma College and her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University in Massachusetts.
Annalise believes in the importance of exploring the full range of emotions not just through traditional talk therapy, but also through creative expression in writing, visual art, music, dance and play.  As a practitioner, Annalise focuses on the importance of experience and self-expression, and walking with someone on their own personal journey.
Often, people find themselves defined by one label, experience or diagnosis, and Annalise works to explore the whole person, beyond any one defining feature.  She is passionate about helping people who see themselves as neurodivergent, or may have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome or other developmental disorder; as well as people with chronic illnesses and neurological conditions such as epilepsy or multiple sclerosis.  Annalise works with children 6 and up, adults, teen and adolescents.Trauma InformedLGBTQ Allied and Affirming
